 While prayer is often a deeply personal experience, Jesus reminds us that God wants us to pray together, too!
Matthew 18:19-20 (New International Version)
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Benefits to group prayer include encouragement, when we know others are joining with us in our prayer requests. Group or “corporate” prayer also unites Christians in both purpose and spirit, strengthening our bonds as Jesus’ followers, that is, the “body” of Christ.
We invite you to join us here at The Gathering Place for group prayer, each week at the times designated below.
