Unfortunately most professing Christians don’t know what they believe, and so can neither understand nor defend the Christian faith—much less live it. This is a course that will clarify for us some of the fundamentals of “the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.” Jude 3. Among the topics that will be discussed are: God; The Creeds; Postmodernism; Truth. This is a great follow-up to Foundations of the Faith. In short, it’s for everyone!   How Did We Get Here From There? At one time or another, different people have asked, “Where did all these denominations come from?” With this in mind, this course will present a brief overview of church history from the beginning of the church up to the present. The goal is for us to gain an understanding of how (and to some extent, why) the various denominations have developed.
